Gita Shahi - Bandhaki Movie


Nepalese actress Gita Shahi entered Kollywood (Nepalese Film Industry) from Nepalese Box Offfice Hit Movie Bandhaki. Ms. Shahi worked on Nepalese awareness tele-serials like Thorai Bhaye Pugi Sari and Shanka before working on the big screen movies. Her fame and acting skills was greatly appreciated by public in those tele-serials, which helped open her path to Nepalese movie industry. Also she worked as background dancer in  several movies before working in Bandhaki.

Ms. Shahi played lead role in the Bandhaki movie. The movie celebrated 100 days in Nepalese cinema halls. Her her superb role and acting in the movie, Ms. Shahi won Best New Comer Female Artiste Award 2005. It was national event organized by Film Development Board Nepal and His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Birkram Shah Dev was the chief guest in the ceremony.
